Vegan Split Pea Soup | Instant Pot & Stovetop Recipe | Whole Food Plant Based & Oil Free!

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Today I’m bringing you a classic of classics – split pea soup. It’s also notoriously simple to make, it’s flavorful, creamy, filling and perfect for the cold winter season. It’s also oil-free, gluten-free, whole food plant based and cheap! Recipe video and blog post with printable recipe card below for those interested!.
