WW Blue Plan Instant Pot Orange Chicken

You’ve probably heard of the Instant Pot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But these simple & easy to follow recipes work with any pressure cooker! All pressure cookers work on the same, simple principle: Steam pressure.

Within the sealed pot, the steam builds up therein to a very high pressure, which helps food cook much faster than other traditional methods, such as with crock pots and or ovens!

Servings: 4

4 ( 4oz.) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
1 (12.75 oz.) jar Smucker’s sugar free orange marmalade
2 Tbsp soy sauce
8 Tbsp or 1/2 cup sugar free BBQ sauce
1 Tbsp sugar substitute
2 tsp corn starch
desired rice

Combine soy sauce, sugar substitute, orange marmalade, chicken pieces, and BBQ sauce into instant pot.

Cook on manual high for 4 minutes.

When the chicken is done, fast release the steam.

Scoop out 1/4 cup of the sauce mixture from the instant pot and mix with 2 tsp of cornstarch and put in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until the cornstarch has been completely incorporated. (This will assist prevent lumps from the cornstarch and will assist thicken the sauce.)

Pour cornstarch mixture back into Instant Pot and stir well.

Let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. The sauce will begin to thicken as it sits. Serve with desired rice.
